Municipal Court Re-Opening Policies and Procedures
Just a reminder that Municipal Court re-opened June 1, but operating with new policies and procedures designed to ensure the health and well-being of employees and residents. These include:
◾ Defendants: Only the person appearing for court and/or their attorney will be allowed entry.
◾ Warrant Surrender: Those wishing to surrender on a warrant may appear on Monday and Tuesday mornings between 7:30 and 9 a.m.
◾ Juveniles: You must have only one parent or guardian accompany you.
◾ Victims: Please notify security that you are a victim in a case, you will be escorted by Victim Services to the Victim Services Office.
◾ Witnesses: Please notify security that you are a witness in a case, you will be directed to the appropriate waiting area.
◾ Payments: If you want to make payment on a case in person, walk-ins will be permitted on a space-available basis. (Payments over the phone or online are preferred).Please see the video below for more information, as well as https://bit.ly/3cL8KDv
